Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act

S.4501 – Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act

This bill establishes a federal framework to regulate the carry or possession of concealed firearms across state lines. Specifically, an individual who is able to carry a concealed firearm in one state may carry or possess in another state that allows its residents to carry concealed firearms.

The bill also sets forth requirements for the lawful concealed carry across state lines. The bill supersedes most state and local laws related to concealed carry and establishes a private right of action for a person negatively affected due to interference with a concealed-carry right established by this bill.

I believe that our nation’s gun laws are too confusing, and you shouldn’t be penalized for wanting to protect your family when crossing state lines. Go to and send your lawmaker a letter. The time is NOW for national concealed carry reciprocity.
