Shall Not Be Infringed Act

H.R.8374 – Shall Not Be Infringed Act

This bill is a repeal of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. Effective on the date that the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act ( Public Law 117–159 ) was enacted, such Act is repealed, and the provisions of the law are restored or revived as if the Act had not been enacted.

The Bipartisan Safer Communities Act enacted expansive gun safety measures through expanded background checks, restrictions on certain individuals owning firearms, and incentives for states to enact “red-flag” programs under the Senate amendment to S. 2938.
